October 9th, 2021 Outdoor Meeting and Get-Together

Presently, there are no club meetings planned at Joseph’s Grill this coming 2021/2022 season. Given the ever-changing circumstances, we decided to plan one event at a time.

Food & Drink

Everyone brings their own food, drink and utensils..

The pavilion has a grill and electric power.  We will have coals on site.  If you would like to cook, let us know and we will start the coals early.  Please bring your own cooking utensils, etc. 

Activities

Casting Games – We will have a fly casting course set up on the grounds adjacent to the picnic shelter.  It will be set up to reflect real life fishing conditions with realistic distances.  So bring your favorite fly rod with a yarn fly.  We will also have several club fly rods available for use.

The park has paved walking trails to enjoy the fall colors.

The Mississippi river is accessible for fishing for those of you who would like to give it a try from shore.

Cenaiko Lake, which is in the park is a MN DNR designated trout lake and has two fishing piers. (https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/areas/fisheries/eastmetro/lakes/cenaiko.html)
