Lew Jewett Fly Fishers, Inc. is a Charter Club of the Fly Fishers International (FFI). We are an active Twin Cities club that is open to people, young or old, who are dedicated to conserving sportfish and their habitats and educating ourselves and others in fly fishing. Our motto, “All Fish – All Waters” describes our focus on the many warm-water as well as cold-water species that live here in our area. Along with trout and Great Lakes salmon, we pursue bass, pike, musky, panfish, and other warm-water species that can be readily taken with fly tackle.
We have a club activity nearly each month of the year, including our four dinner meetings, educational and casting clinics for the public, school and scouting programs, stream clean-up programs with the DNR, fly tying classes, and other club outings on the streams and lakes of the area.
As a Charter Club of the FFI, all of our regular members also need to belong as members to the FFI. Membership categories and dues for the Lew Jewett Club include:
- Individual Adult Membership $15 per calendar year
- Family Adult Membership (2 adults) $25 per calendar year
- Full Time Student Membership (to age 25 ) $5 per calendar year
- Qualified Disabled Veterans are eligible for a free membership. (Must be qualified by the FFI.)
