Driftless Trout Outing – Preston, MN

Join Lew Jewett Fly Fishers for a Trout Fishing Outing in Preston, MN!

Come fish with fellow Lew Jewett members in the beautiful Driftless Region! We’ll meet at The Driftless Fly Fishing Company (208 St Paul St SW, Preston, MN 55965) at 9:00 AM, where we’ll organize into small groups and head to various prime fishing spots in the area.

Gear & Equipment:

• Rod & Line: 4 or 5 weight rod and line recommended

• Flies: Blue-winged olive (dry and emerger), caddis (dry and emerger), pheasant tail nymph, hare’s ear nymph (updated hatch info closer to the date)

• Waders: Available for rent at the shop
• Fishing license with a trout validation
• Bring a lunch
