Our first outdoor get-together/membership meeting will be held Saturday, September 26th from 08:30 AM – 01:00 PM.

We have reserved the West Picnic Shelter at Como Park in St Paul for our morning get-together. It is located on the west side of the park near Hamline Ave.

The morning’s schedule will be casual with a short meeting at 10 AM to elect our directors and officers for the upcoming year.

While the schedule is flexible, please try to attend the 10 AM meeting. At the meeting, we will have our elections that were originally planned for our April 2020 meeting which was cancelled.

    Casting
We will have a fly casting course set up on the grounds adjacent to the picnic shelter. So bring your favorite fly rod with a yarn fly and join in the casting fun. It will be set up in the FFI Fly Casting Skills Challenge layout and will be non competitive.

    COVID-19 Safety
Bring a mask. We will follow the current COVID-19 social distance guidelines. Masks are required to be worn in all St Paul parks when 6ft social distancing cannot be maintained.

The only shared items will be the picnic tables and grill in the shelter. St Paul Parks & Rec advises they strive to disinfect the picnic tables before our meeting. We will also have disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer onsite.

You may bring your own food and beverage of your liking – coffee and pastry for the morning, a boxed lunch, or something to grill. Bring a chair if the picnic tables at the shelter do not suit your comfort.

    — If you would like to cook something on the grill, please bring your own cooking utensils.

    — We will have coals for the grill for those who would like to cook.
